Ingredients

  • 1-2 cup veg stock
  • 1/4 cup whole red lentils (Whole masoor),
  • 1-2 garlic cloves sliced.
  • Ground cumin
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 small red capsicum
  • finely chopped and cayenne pepper
  • in a saucepan.

Instructions

Method:

  1. Combine 1-2 cup veg stock, ΒΌ cup whole red lentils (Whole masoor), 1-2 garlic cloves sliced.

  2. Ground cumin, a pinch of salt, 1 small red capsicum, finely chopped and cayenne pepper, in a saucepan.

  3. Reserve some capsicum to garnish. Cook for 15 minutes or until the lentils become tender.

  4. Top with the reserved capsicum just before serving.
